AOP Industries has become a leader in the valve industry. Through distribution and regional warehouses AOP stocks field locations with slab and expanding gate valve styles. Every valve must meet or exceed stringent industry standards and customer requirements.
AOP SGSB Gate ValveSGSB Gate Valve
The AOP SGSB Series is a slab gate, floating seat, rising stem, full bore, through gate valve conduit designed to work in variety of environments. SGSB valves are in full compliance with API 6A & ISO 10423, and are available in flanged end connections from 3-1/16” bore to 7-1/16” bore, 10 000 and 15 000 psi.

The SGSB valve is a slab gate design, with all positive slab gate valve features. The difference in this valve is in a lower balancing stem and an upper acting stem. With AOP’s special ball screw mechanism, SGSB Series large bore and high pressure valves can be operated with low torque and a low number of hand-wheel turns.

The SGSB valve is a bi-directional valve and can be installed in-line in either direction. SGSB valves have the advantage of being easily adapted for use with a variety of actuators; reverse acting, direct acting, pneumatic and hydraulic..

SGC Gate Valves
The AOP SGC Series is a slab gate, floating seat and body bushing, non-rising stem, full bore, through conduit gate valve designed to work in variety of environments. SGC valves are in full compliance with API 6A & ISO 10423, and are available in flanged end connections from 1-13/16” bore to 4-1/16” bore in 10 000 psi rating, and 1-13/16” bore up to 2-9/16” bore in 15 000 psi rating.

AOP SGC Gate ValveFeatures
The slab gate assures a bi-directional seal and releases body pressure if the line pressure decreases. The slab gate reduces the possibility of erosion caused by fluid contamination, and eliminates the possibility of a double block condition. When closed, the gate floats against the downstream side of the valve creating a metal-to-metal seal at the gate/seat interface, the seat/body bushing, and the body bushing/body interface.

SGC Series floating seats are designed to work with body bushings. When the line pressure decreases, body pressure equalization occurs across the seat ring and body bushing interface.

Metal-to-metal high pressure sealing between body/bonnet interface is stable and environmentally resistant.

The stem has a secondary metal-to-metal backseat seal that can be engaged while the valve is in service. The stem backseat design permits stem packing replacement with the valve in-line and under pressure.

The valve has a single fitting above the stem backseat to inject lubricant.

All part are easy replaceable in the field.

The SGC valve is a bi-directional valve. and can be installed in line in either direction. SGC valves have the advantage of being easily adapted for use with a variety of actuators; reverse acting, direct acting, pneumatic and hydraulic.

AOP NW2 Gate ValveNW2 Gate Valve
The AOP NW2 Series is an expanding wedge-gate, non rising stem, full bore, through conduit gate valve designed to work in variety of environments.

NW2 valves are in full compliance with API 6A & ISO 10423, and are available in flanged end connections from 2-1/16” bore to 7-1/16” bore, and in threaded end connections from 2-1/16” to 4-1/16”, pressure ratings 2000, 3000 and 5000 psi.

Features
The expanding gate creates a positive mechanical bi-directional seal across the seats which does not depend on line pressure on either the upstream or downstream side. At the end of closing stroke the gate contacts the bottom of the valve. With continued rotation of the stem by tightening the hand-wheel, the gate segments expand against the seats creating a positive bi-directional seal.

The seats are fixed into the body to prevent high pressure seat float and have a seat insert for positive sealing. Metal to metal seating is available upon request.

Metal-to-metal sealing between body and bonnet interface, and seat/ body interface are stable and environmentally resistant.

The stem packing is re-energizable with the valve in line and under pressure using the injectable packing fitting. The valve is also equipped with two body fittings for easy draining and lubrication.

The NW2 expanding gate valve has a preferred flow direction to assure low torque operation which is marked on the outside of the valve. Valve operating temperatures to 650 degres F are available.

AOP NS2 Gate Valve NS2 Gate Valve
The AOP NS2 Series is a slab-gate, non rising stem, full bore, through conduit gate valve designed to work in variety of tough environments. NS2 valves are in full compliance with API 6A & ISO 10423, and are available in flanged end connections from 2-1/16” bore to 7-1/16” bore, and in threaded end connections from 2-1/16” to 4-1/16”, pressure ratings 2000, 3000 and 5000 psi.

Features
The slab gate assures a bi-directional seal and removes the possibility of pressure being trapped in double block conditions. The slab gate releases the body pressure if line pressure decreases.

The seats are floating type for easy replacement. The seat has an insert for positive sealing. Metal to metal seating is available upon request.

Metal-to-metal sealing between body and bonnet interface are stable and environmentally resistant.

The stem packing is re-energizable with the valve in line and under pressure using the injectable packing fitting. The valve is also equipped with two body fittings for easy draining and lubrication.

The NS2 Series gate valve is bi-directional and can be installed in line in either direction. NS2 valves have the advantage of being easily adapted for use with a variety of actuators; reverse acting, direct acting, pneumatic and hydraulic.

AOP logo About AOP
AOP Industries began operations in 1972 as Oilfield Services Inc in South Oklahoma City, OK. Owned and operated by a local businessman, the initial model for the facility was that of a typical wellhead service organization. In 1977 the company’s name was changed to American Oilfield Products, Inc. The company began manufacturing API 6A and 6D gate valves in 1988, and shortly thereafter began producing the current choke line. Floating ball valves were added to the product line in 1995. Future expansion allowed American Oilfield Products, Inc to included API 6A and 6D ball valves, 6D Swing Check Valves, threaded Check Valves and Needle Valves. The company made an official name change in 1997 to AOP Industries. With expansion in mind, the company purchased a twelve acre site in Moore, OK and in 1998 constructed a 60,000 sq. ft, building. The company relocated from its South Oklahoma City location to the newly constructed facility in Moore, OK in 1998. AOP Industries products are distributed through Regional Representatives and Stocking Distributors both domestically and internationally.
